KINZ has all modern facilities to provide our students such as:
Academic Classes range in size from 10 to a maximum of 30 students of mixed nationality.
For English classes, KINZ has small size of classes from 8 to maximum 15 students, so that every one could get individual attention.
Classrooms are tidy, spacious and make full use of the latest audio- visual equipment. KINZ cafeteria is there to relax with all the kitchen facilities which include FREE tea and coffee.
Other facilities include computer rooms with high speed (ADSL) Internet for email, online chat and web surfing are FREE for KINZ students.
Students may have access to the student library centre which is available with some terms & conditions.
If you want to learn the typical KIWI lifestyle and much more about new Zealand culture, homestay accommodation is the most popular and best form of accommodation. By choosing homestay accommodation, it a great chance to experience the local lifestyle and practice spoken English.
KINZ makes sure the best New Zealand host families for you to stay with. Your homestay family will provide you with a single bedroom, at least two meals per day and clean bed linen and towel. KINZ monitor all homestay families. Costs NZ$200 to NZ$250 per week and is subject to a homestay booking fee. There are some terms and conditions are involved, which may vary. KINZ has well reputed relationship of trust with its homestay families and regularly inspects all homestays to ensure they meet our quality standards. You may get single, shared, full furnished, apartment style accommodation in hostels is available within walking distance of KINZ. Cost varies from NZ$100 to NZ$250 per week. Some registration fee may apply. Only 18 years or more are eligible for this type of accommodation.
There are plenty of backpackers hostels throughout Auckland. Backpacker accommodation is commonly aimed at budget adventure travelers, visitors or working holidays. Accommodation costs range from NZ$20 to NZ$50 per night depending on type of room (shared or bunk room, and self contained unit). Only 18 years or more are eligible for this type of accommodation.
This is the most popular option for international students or single NZ Citizens / permanent resident is known as flatting. You may get this facility by sharing a rented house or apartment with other people. Cost is normally NZ$80 to NZ$250 per person per week depending on living style, food or other conditions and location. Some times you will have to share the additional cost of power, water and electricity with the people you are living with. Age limit is 18 or over for this option.
People 15 years old or over may drive in New Zealand if carrying a current and valid New Zealand driver’s license, International Driving Permit, or overseas license. You can drive on an overseas license for 12 months. Once 12 months period is over, you have to apply for a New Zealand one. Carry your license with you at all times when driving. If you are stopped by the Police for any reason and fail to produce your license. New Zealand is an inexpensive destination to study & live in comparison to other countries such as Australia, Canada, the UK or the USA. To be eligible for 20 hours work and study you will have to select any of KINZ Diploma course or an English language course (where you have an IELTS score of at least 5.0) of 1 year duration or more.
