Our Services

Our student career center will try its utmost to assist our students, create/amend their CV’s, improve their interviewing skills and help them find part time job opportunities. Students can thus accumulate their work experience and work towards their career goals while studying.
The career center is proud to offer the following services:

  • We can give suggestions and feedback on CVs in comparison to the professional standard for CVs.
  • Our staff are happy to provide mock interviews for students who are new to the job application process, or simply need more practice talking one to one about themselves, their accomplishments and their career goals.
  • Our staff would be happy to be a referee for students who do not have prior job experience.
  • We advise on presentation skills and tips for professionalism in the job application process.
  • We keep track of local job vacancy sites and will encourage students to apply widely, and expand their areas of interest.
  • We can assist in proofreading cover letters and applications.
  • You may be recommended for part time work with local businesses that the school networks with.

Notice Board

The School has a job notice board located on the second floor of the building. Printed information of recent job opportunities will be posted there. For more information see our job search officer.

NZ Job Market

  • We have over 30 restaurants, hotels in Auckland, and others part of NZ, who have signed MOU with our school, offering to supply job opportunities to our students. Our job center officer will also work closely with other human recourse companies and agencies to seek part-time jobs within Auckland. Please note that many of our graduates have obtained jobs outside of Auckland, in all areas of New Zealand. Popular choices for graduates include tourist destinations such as Queenstown and Rotorua.
Our school also has a restaurant on the ground level of the campus, our students have top priority for job opportunities there. The handy location is also a bonus for students wanting to get an internship without having to travel far.

In addition to the restaurant downstairs, the campus is also location on Queens road, which is rife with restaurants, shops and public facilities such as the library, community center, church. Many of our students choose to find jobs on Queens Road because it is the central hub of Panmure and is very easily accessible by public transport (bus, train, car). Since Panmure is located between Auckland CBD and all the eastern and southern Auckland suburbs, Panmure is very central in relation to other suburbs, making it a gateway for travel and businesses.
